Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies the result; we do not retain or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We keep an email or contact submission as needed to answer it. The message remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers automatically receive limited technical details when a page loads:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device that help show how the website is used, including popular pages and common exit points. Analytics providers combine that traffic information for us. You can block cookies through browser controls, although doing so may change how some features work.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
We do not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of dockets or personal case-record information. Fulton County guidance identifies the Superior Court of Fulton County, Ché Alexander as Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts, the separate State Court records operation, and the Georgia Courts E-Access directory as official starting points. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party profiles, and this website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and disclosure practices, so review those terms before running a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Fulton County clerk pages, Georgia court portals, legal-aid resources, and outside search services. Once you leave this website, the destination's privacy terms apply. Review them before providing personal information.
Some advertising providers may use activity across websites to select ads. That processing occurs through the provider's systems.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. It may be disclosed to the following limited recipients:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used for collected data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, however, and we cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor supplied such information, we will remove it.
Your Data Rights
Rights can vary with your residence and applicable Georgia privacy or consumer-protection law. The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. §§ 50-18-70 through 50-18-72, governs qualifying records held by public custodians, not private visitor data held here. At a minimum, you may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised. An updated version will be posted here with a new effective date, so review this page periodically for changes.
